 Joseph Wagg (or Joe/Joey to his pals), has long been the mascot of our brand. This anti hero is based on many an 80s lad who got on his bike when told to do so back then. He spent his time plundering naive sporting goods stores to liberate them of their fine treasure, often a trip mixed in with a football tie. He loved an eye catching outdoor garment and was a sucker for a pair of training shoes that would fit nicely in his ‘Head’ tennis bag. His Monica comes from a fictional character who often wrote into cult 80s fanzine ‘The End’ taking the French kiss out of those at the back of the pack in the terrace fashion stakes. On this classic design he’s captured surveying the scene before him on the outskirts of an alpine settlement he’s about to graft.
