Transalpino Casual Labour – White
This famous black-and-white photograph was taken during construction of the RCA Building at 30 Rockefeller Centre in Manhattan 1932. The photograph depicts eleven men eating lunch, seated on a girder with their feet dangling 840 feet above the New York City streets.
Now we would like to think after a hard weeks graft up in the God’s, these chaps would be doing exactly the same as us if the wonderful 3 streifen had been around and spending their hard earned on a snazzy pair of Dassler’s before her in doors got her greasy one’s on it.
This is a new version of a Transalpino classic, re drawn with more graphic detail and sharper resolution by artist Paul Cruse.
