Transalpino Boys Pen - Navy
By Transalpino
£35.00
The Boys' Pen in the 1970s was a caged area located in the upper right-hand side of Liverpool's famous Kop. It was where young Liverpool fans would serve their 'apprenticeship' before graduating to become full-time Kopites or Anny Roaders.
It was an unforgiving place, populated by kids from some of the toughest areas of Merseyside. The red half of Transalpino spent his time there from 1974 to 1978, and nearly 50 years later, he is still friends with the kids he met back then.
