Quadrant Park night club in Liverpool was one of the first to cotton on to this new thing called ‘Acid House’ with it’s alternative night on Thursdays in 88. By 1990 ‘The Quad’ was one of the biggest house music attractions pulling in clubber from all over the UK every weekend. Sadly blighted with drugs and petty crime the dream was soon over as the doors were closed a year later. Known to many as 'The Big Apple' it will always remain our hearts.
